A am a 45 year old Bachelor of Social Sciences, family father and Communications Expert, who enjoys working around the yard of our house and time on the sea.
Before my Bachelor studies, I worked for almost a quarter of a century in the Restaurant industry, latest as Restaurant Manager for the legendary Swedish Club in Helsinki. During the Covid-19 pandemic I decided to change my life’s path, since the professional outlooks for a Restaurant Manager and musician were not too bright. While having to cope with student budget life, I thought it be a good idea to actually also study. Slightly over 2 years later I had completed 180 credits and a Bachelor’s degree.
Currently I’m studying for my Master’s degree, while working full-time. I have however not given up on music, still performing around 30-40 gigs per year.
Defence and voluntary defence work is close to my heart, and I am a common sight in different drills, where I often participate as drill leader or instructor. I’ve completed quite a few refresher course days and have also represented the Finnish Defence Forces abroad. My current rank is Chief Petty Officer (OR-7). Between 2024 and 2026 I am also functioning as the Communications Officer for the Inter-allied Reserve Non-commisioned Officers Confederation – CISOR.
My professional background mostly consists of frelance work, but I have also been an entrepreneur for more than 15 years. Currently I work as a part-time entrepreneur besides my main work. My company provides person transport services at sea for small groups in the Eastern Finnish Gulf and on Lake Lohja, as well as entertainment services and HoReCa consultation services in Finland and internationally.
